Primary Objective(s)
Our Project Managers will define the scope, initiate, and manage large departmental project with moderate to high risk while supporting business and program management staff. Individuals in this role will display core competencies such as project delivery, agile methodology, risk management, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities & Technologies
- Monitor costs, timescales and resources used on active projects, and review actions where these deviate from agreed tolerances with PMO leadership.
- Define, document, and execute projects of high risk, complexity and visibility, and actively participating in all phases of the project.
- Agrees on scope and constraints to enable costs, timescales, and resource requirements for the successful completion of each project.
- Manages the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions from the project stakeholders and ensure full impacts of significant changes are understood by project stakeholders.
Manages responsibility to ensure project deliverables are demonstrably fit for purpose.
- Ensures all parties are aware of project scope and milestones, highlight divergences from that scope, and adjusts where necessary to reflect changing circumstances and act as a communication liaison.

Qualifications
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiating and influencing skills
- Demonstrated achievements in planning, directing and implementing complex projects on time, within budget and with desired functionality
- Ability to work in fast-paced, changing, and ambiguous environments with a flexible and positive attitude
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (including Agile) and life cycles
- Fully competent in all aspects of project delivery and management.
- Possesses strong business acumen.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of relevant experience, with experience in a technical field preferred OR 2+ years project manager experience.
- PMP Preferred
